In the world of interior design, most clients never anticipate the day they'll have to rebuild their forever home. Yet, that's precisely what we've been privileged to do for some of our clients.

Meet Jerry & Anita. In the picturesque hill country, their dream home was tragically struck by lightning and reduced to ashes last year. Only the foundation, portions of their deck, and a hopeful hot tub remained. Can you fathom witnessing your dream home vanish in flames?

In April of 2023, we received a call from one of our preferred general contractors, inviting us to a meeting with Jerry and Anita. They were embarking on the journey to recreate a new version of their dream home, and we eagerly joined the team.

Being a part of this story, helping Jerry and Anita reclaim their forever home and making it even better than imagined, was an opportunity we couldn't resist.

The design experience with Jerry and Anita was nothing short of extraordinary. We feel blessed to have contributed to bringing their new vision for their hill country home to life.

These opportunities remind us why we love what we do. While design is an integral part of our work, the true joy lies in the lives we impact along the way. There are few words to express the feeling when we see the smiles on our clients' faces as their project begins to take shape.

As the Life by Design Interiors team, our clients, and our amazing general contractor witness this design leap from paper plans to reality, our hearts overflow with joy. We couldn't keep this heartwarming story to ourselves and wanted to share it with our incredible community.
